How long are the programs?
Our programs our design to give you hands-on career readiness training in one year. Additional Certifications may take another semester to complete.
Are we a post technical school or are we a part of the K-12 System?
According to the Department of Education, Tarkio Tech is considered a technical school.
What are the term dates?
Sept first to December 20
January 4 to April 28
Where are you located? What building?
We are located at 404 N 13th St, Tarkio, MO 64491. In the Thompson Learning Center.
Are donations tax deductible?
yes donations are tax deductible because we are a 501c3 nonprofit!
Are we certified through the state?
Yes
How do I sign up? How soon can I sign up?
If you are interested in kick starting your career. Please, hit the apply button. You can apply anytime for the upcoming semester.
What can I do once I receive a certificate?
For our students we hold job fairs to help them land jobs withing their chosen certificate program.
Is there financial aid available?
Voc rehab, workforce innovation oppprtunity act, plus, we offer several scholarships!
Is there housing available?
Yes, as of 2024 we renovated our first dorms! Room is limited. We encourage upcoming students to apply for housing as soon as possible to reserve their space.
Are fees differentiated for out of state students?
Fees are not differentiated for out of states students.
Does your school allow for A+ or GI Bill funding?
In January 2022, we will be able to accept GI.
