Donations don't just help us get the campus back up and in running order, they impact students who are ready to start their careers.
Giving back to the community
As beautiful as our historic campus is, there is still a ton of work that has to go into making the buildings clean, safe and functional again. Through donations, Tarkio Tech is able to tackle these projects. As we fix up the campus, we will be able to add more courses, house more students, and most importantly provide the community with skilled workers in fields that need them.
When you donate to Tarkio Tech, you're not only helping improve the campus but you will also be impacting the next generation of students. Donations help bring new programs to the school that students and the community can benefit from. They also help with creating new scholarships that students can use. Scholarships are very important because they provide students with the opportunity to receive an education.
Have You Heard?
If you are 72 or older, you can now make gifts directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to Tarkio College without paying federal income tax on the withdrawal.
- Tax-Efficient way for seniors to make charitable contributions
- Applies even if you take the standard deduction
- Satisfies all or part of your Minimum Required Distribution (MRD)
- Does not count toward your Adjusted Gross Income (AGI)
- Must be paid directly from your IRA custodian
Did you know that we're a 501c3 organization?
This means that when you donate to Tarkio Tech your donation is tax deductible! When you donate to a 501c3, the amount you give is deducted from the amount you pay taxes on. Not only do you pay less in taxes but you also get to help out the community!
